Project Overview
52nd Ave Hardware is a family-owned hardware and supply store in Portland, known for serving both neighborhood customers and the local film and production industry. Their previous website was more than ten years old and no longer reflected the identity, personality, or reputation the store has built in the community.
The Challenge
The existing website lacked brand character and did not highlight what makes 52nd Ave Hardware unique. The store is well-known locally, has strong relationships with repeat customers, and holds a five-star rating on Google, but the website didn’t communicate that trust or sense of familiarity.
They needed a modern, approachable website that showcases their products, reinforces their reputation, and improves local visibility in search.

We redesigned the site in WordPress with a warm, neighborhood-focused visual style that reflects the store’s personality. The structure highlights their core product offerings, their role as a leading supplier for the film industry, and the values behind being family-owned.
