The Challenge

Breaking Taboo needed a website that was more modern and easy to use. While the old website wasn’t terrible, there was no strategy behind the design or the site architecture. Important information was hard to find and the site was dark. They had already hired a developer but really needed someone who could create a design that was more colorful and in-line with their new branding.

Our Strategy

We designed a new, modern website based on solid research and strategy. A new color scheme was implemented to lift the site up from dreary and depressing, to colors that were more reflective of the important messaging they wanted to communicate. Impactful photos were used at the top of important landing pages to grab attention, along with a branded color palette for each landing page.

The Figma design file was then handed off to their developer to create a custom WordPress theme.
